1.5. Anti-Terrorism and Treason Act

Acts intended to destabilize the SA Federal Government or public through violence, bombings, hostage-taking, cyberattacks, or terrorism are strictly prohibited. Individuals committing treason may face life imprisonment or death, with judicial review.

Terrorism: Up to 30 years imprisonment, life imprisonment if death results.

Treason: Life imprisonment or death.
