15.1. SA Federal Unauthorized Possession of FIB-Classified Weapons Act
It is unlawful for any civilian, non-FIB personnel, or non-authorized government official to possess, transport, or transfer Class 2 or Class 3 FIB-issued weapons, including but not limited to:
Class 2 (Federal-Issued Pistols): Examples include FIB-Spec Glock, Service Pistol MK II, or any sidearm marked and registered to FIB inventory.
Class 3 (Federal-Issued Shotguns, Rifles/Assault Weapons): Examples include the Combat Shotgun, HK416 or other fully automatic/semi-automatic rifles designated for federal use marked and registered to FIB inventory. (Possession includes weapons stolen, obtained through illicit means, or retained post-employment without express federal clearance.)
Penalty:
Class 2 Violation: Up to 1 years imprisonment, $200,000 fine, and federal firearm disqualification for life.
Class 3 Violation: Up to 25 years imprisonment, $1,000,000 fine, asset forfeiture, and mandatory minimum sentence of 2 years due to the high-risk nature of the weapon.
If the weapon is used during a violent crime: Charge may be upgraded to Terrorism, Attempted Murder, or Aggravated Federal Assault, depending on context.
