10.3. SA Federal Corruption of Public Officials Act

Any government official found guilty of using their position to accept bribes, engage in conflicts of interest, or obstruct justice is subject to both civil and criminal penalties.

Penalty: 10-30 years imprisonment, civil restitution, and forfeiture of assets obtained through corrupt practices.
